Communications & Marketing Coordinator

Krystal brings a deep-rooted passion for serving the Brainerd Lakes community to her role as Communications & Marketing Coordinator at BLAEDC. Born and raised in the area, the community holds a special place in her heart. A proud graduate of Brainerd High School, she went on to earn her Associate’s degree from Central Lakes College and later completed her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior.

Since joining BLAEDC, Krystal has grown within the organization from Administrative Assistant into her current role, where she now leads communications and marketing efforts that support regional economic development. She is passionate about telling the story of the Brainerd Lakes Area, fostering connections, and helping local businesses and communities thrive.

Krystal also brings over 12 years of experience in real estate, where she built a successful career centered on relationships, trust, and service—qualities that continue to define her professional approach.

Outside of work, Krystal enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Matt, share a busy and rewarding life with their five children: Madyson, Kaytlin, Kendra, Klaire, and MJ.
