Brainerd Industrial Park is ‘Shovel Ready’

The Brainerd Lakes Area was one of the first regions in the state to receive a “Shovel Ready” certification. The certification was for the Brainerd Industrial Park, meaning that the building sites have all the appropriate preliminary work done to expedite the construction process.

The industrial park’s Phase IV lots are graded and “pad ready,” offering transportation, electric, water, gas, and fiber optic infrastructure in place. A comprehensive stormwater retention plan allows for high percentages of impervious surface on the lots.
