Position is located in Brainerd, MN. No remote work option is avaiable.

Job Summary:

Individuals will work within a team environment to support client IT infrastructure. Individuals must be able to work closely in a team environment, to support various levels of client infrastructure including but not limited to firewalls, servers, wireless and wired networks, applications, workstations, and end-user devices. This position will primarily work on-site at a school district.

Essential Functions:

● Supporting clients in a timely and professional manner.

● Ability to troubleshoot IT issues and escalate in a timely manner if needed.

● Research software products and applicability to support clients.

● Installation of software and hardware.

● Detail-orientated documentation for internal records.

● Stay up to date on the latest developments in technology.

● Ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated.

● Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

● Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

● Strong time management skills and strong organizational skills.

Primary Technical Skills and Abilities desired:

● Networking understanding including firewalls, wireless and physical networks

● Fortinet Firewall and switch experience

● Windows server OS administration experience

● Support experience with Windows operating systems

● General hardware troubleshooting, support, and repair experience

● Mac and Chromebook experience is beneficial, but not required

● Familiar with Active Directory management and setup

● Firewall and Server Virtualization experience beneficial

● Google Suite administration

● Experience in a school IT setting is a plus

Training and Experience:

Associate degree in computer science, network course, or IT field equivalent work experience desired.
