HR Manager position is located in Brainerd, MN. Position is with a premier manufacturing facility in our market and has two additional outside plants that will require some overnight travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
¨ Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
¨ Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting and interviewing program
¨ Prepares employees for assignments by assisting with orientation and training programs
¨ Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to ownership; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs
¨ Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
¨ Monitors tracking of OSHA required data; works with Insurance Companies for General Liability, Workers Comp, and/or other.
¨ Retains knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures
¨ Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
¨ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
¨ Updates and manages company licenses and certifications
¨ Manages employee incentive plans
¨ Regular and reliable attendance
¨ All other duties as assigned
¨ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 5 years’ experience in the human resources field
¨ Noise level is moderate
¨ Valid Driving License
¨ Clear and Unblemished Background Check
